Hole in one…

Actually, there ended up being two holes in the log cabins last week...

It’s a lot less dramatic than it sounds.

How it all began

It all begins with an idea. Or in our case, with this book.

The Askefield Project’s story started back in 2005, when our boys were 5, 3 and 1 and Chris was working for Ricardo Motorsport. Having small children is tough enough (as we all know) but add in two dogs and a husband who is regularly abroad and when he was home, worked long hours and I’d had enough. And then there was 2020.

All was not lost, we did receive funding for two other very different projects, Challenge Askefield and The Toolshed. These were a godsend while we worked out what to do. We had another setback in March 2020 when our first Lottery bid was rejected. A fortnight later, the world went mad.
