Meet the Team.

  • Hannah Blevins

    PROJECT MANAGER
    hannah@askefield.co.uk

“Moving to Friskney to give our three sons the freedom that I had as a child in the Channel Islands was a life-changing decision. Over the years it has allowed us to extend our passion for the countryside and share this with others; many of whom have not had the opportunity we have had.

“Working with the prisoners from HMP North Sea Camp gave us the chance to help change people’s futures and give them new hope where there seemed to be none. For me, this has been one of the most rewarding, albeit challenging, things that we have achieved and definitely shaped our future.

“The Askefield Project, and what the farm has done for people recently, is one of our greatest achievements and one I am immensely proud of. Not only has it shaped our lives, but our boys have also grown up with these shared passions and standards which have had an enormous impact on the young men they have become.”

  • Chris Blevins

    FARM MANAGER
    chris@askefield.co.uk

“As a career long engineer, first with the Royal Air Force, then Motorsport and more recently power stations, our smallholding became an opportunity to reconnect with our environment and a common interest for our active family. Welcoming people to the Project allows us to share what we take for granted every day in running a small productive farm.

“I take enormous pride in seeing the smiles on our visitors faces when they have achieved even a small goal, be that cutting some timber to build a new duck house to working together to herd some particularly uncooperative sheep.

“We have built our farm from a blank canvas over the last 17 years, it has been hard at times, but I am proud of what we have achieved and the difference we have made to people’s lives.”

  • Ula Boney-Hundal

He works with our volunteers to keep the polytunnel and garden area ready for our clients.

In June 2022, Sharon became the Project’s Volunteer Co-ordinator after funding was received from The National Lottery and she manages a strong team of Volunteers, who help to run sessions and keep the farm looking at its best.
