Friskney Farm School
A collaborative project between Friskney All Saints Church of England Primary School and The Askefield Project, where each Thursday a different class comes to The Askefield Project and engages with a range of activities around the farm (including feeding the animals) that support the school’s curriculum through their current topics.
So far, the students have looked at inheritance with the sheep, aging sheep by their teeth, investigating the parts of a leaf, sorting animals into the right habitats, a scavenger hunt to make animals and discuss their adaptations, and see Boris and Rory get a visit from the dentist!
The Friskney Farm School started on January 9th and is currently running until the end of the school year. This partnership has been made possible by the Worth Waynflete Foundation.
