Family Fun Days

Back in the summer of 2020, after the lockdown restrictions had been eased, we hosted our first Family Fun Days…

The first set were funded by LPFT Managed Care Network and they were designed to be for all the family regardless of age and be lots of fun! The days consisted of activities, crafts and games that all linked to an overall theme (these included: Nature, Craft, Bushcraft and Farming). Even with the social distancing rules in place, the Family Fun Days were a big success…

…And we have been running them every summer since with plenty more exciting activities, crafts and games (with bottle rockets being a big hit each year!).

If you have never been to one of our Family Fun Days before, the day is packed full of exciting activities, crafts and games spread out across 10 sessions every 30 minutes around our site (from 10am to 3pm). We have had everything from Bottle Rockets, Splat Painting and Toppling Tug of War to Bubble Wands, Paracord Buddies and Pond Dipping! Each group is given a timetable at the start of the day which means there is no queuing for activities or waiting around!!

This year was a special Family Fun Day, and the activities were our Greatest Hits from the last 6 years, which were chosen by our past Family Fun Day attendees.

We also had an EXTRA activity running at the end of the day… the first official opening of the Foam Dart Battle Zone!
