Our Wellness Craft and Coffee Morning.

If you fancy trying something different each week, with a coffee and a piece of cake, then Challenge Askefield is the place to come!

After the final lockdown had lifted and restrictions had begun to ease; we received funding from LPFT to start a new project called Challenge Askefield which would run from 6th May 2021 until 16th December 2021. It originally started with a morning and afternoon session with two challenges across the day. The early challenges ranged from making the tyre chairs and outdoor balancing equipment to decopatch and making bird feeders! 

The LPFT funding for Challenge Askefied finished in February 2022 however we were lucky enough to receive funding from East Lindsey District Council Community Hub which covered the material costs for 26 more weeks of Challenge Askefield.  

Challenge Askefield is now part of our offering from the National Lottery Funding and we reached challenge number 200 earlier this year, which was a major milestone.

There is usually a different craft challenge each week, for example, Decopatch, macrame, painting but we may mix it up sometimes! Challenge Askefield is now running every Friday from 9:30AM to 12:30PM, with a suggested donation is £2.50 per person to cover materials.
