It is a chance to learn new skills and create something you maybe thought was impossible! We have a wide range of tools and experienced staff who can help you; whether you are a complete novice or someone with expertise to pass on to others, The Men’s Shed is the perfect environment for you.

There has been a large range of projects undertaken in both the Toolshed and the Men’s Shed, everything from pergolas and planters to a giant wooden Lego man. Currently, one of our attendees (with the help of Chris, the Toolshedders and our Care Farm Day attendees) is building a 1:10 Scale Lancaster Bomber that will be on display for Remembrance Day 2026.

As there is no external funding currently, there is a suggested donation of £2.50 per person. The Men’s Shed is held on a Tuesday from 1pm-4pm, with the Toolshed and Men’s Shed running on alternating Tuesdays.
