This week, for Askefield Extra, we have a Peri Meri Menopause session.
The session will give an update around the Peri Meri Menopause Project, talk through identifying the various symptoms and how these can affect you both physically and mentally, exploring different approaches that can support you through your menopause journey.
Thank you to UKSPF GRASSroots funding through the Lincolnshire Community Foundation, we are now able to offer the "Askefield Experience" starting on 2nd May, which is a full day of sessions at the farm available to ANYONE over 18, every Thursday between May and October!
We have morning sessions, each running from 9:30am-12:00pm, which include:
- Farm Club (feed the animals, get involved in their day to day care and carry out routine jobs around the farm)
- Gardening (work in our 72ft polytunnel, our nature pond, sensory garden and orchard, growing veg and flowers and landscaping the site)
- Challenge Askefield Craft Morning (our usual crafty coffee morning, learn new crafts and enjoy good company)
We will then have an hour for lunch and then it's on to the afternoon sessions which each run from 1:00pm-3:30pm and include:
- Toolshed (for those who would like to learn new skills with support from our experienced staff)
- Gardening (work in our 72ft polytunnel, our nature pond, sensory garden and orchard, growing veg and flowers and landscaping the site)
- Askefield Extra
We will also have a café, with food, cakes and refreshments available for lunch and during the day for those who are attending (not open to the public).
We have a suggested donation of £2.50 per session (so £5 if you book in for both morning and afternoon sessions) and we only have limited places for each session. Places MUST be booked in advance through the link below:
